OUR STORY
Some things are too good not to pass down.
Before Sanger Pralines was a business, it was a family tradition—a cherished recipe passed from one generation to the next, made with care, shared with love, and perfected along the way.
WHERE IT BEGAN
Rooted in Louisiana. Made with Love.
For more than 80 years, this recipe has made its way from one pair of hands to another.
It began in a grandmother’s kitchen, where pralines were more than something sweet—they were part of the way family gathered, shared, and cared for one another. With patience, craftsmanship, and love at its foundation, the recipe passed from grandmother to mother, from mother to daughter, and eventually into the hands of the next generation.
Today, that treasured family recipe lives on through Sanger Pralines—still honoring the tradition that began generations ago, while carrying it forward for new families to enjoy.
From her kitchen to ours, the tradition continues.
I especially like that last line as a small standalone closing line beneath the body copy. It gives you a beautiful emotional bridge into the next section about the recipe traveling through generations.
PASSING ON THE TRADITION
From Their Hands to Ours.

TRADITION BECOMES A BUSINESS
Made for Family. Now Made for You.
Sanger Pralines began with a phone call between Robert and his sister. He mentioned that he was planning to order pralines from another popular praline company when she gave him a simple suggestion: make them yourself. There was only one problem. Robert didn't know how, and he didn't have a recipe.
His sister did.
She sent him their grandmother's recipe, and that first batch was good enough to make Robert curious about what it could become. He set out to perfect his technique, then began experimenting with the ingredients, testing combination after combination until he created a praline that honored the family recipe while developing a taste distinctly his own.
Then came the real test: other people.
Robert shared his pralines with his youngest daughter, friends and people around him, and his pastor. The reactions told him what he needed to know. People enjoyed the first bite, but it was the flavor that lingered afterward that seemed to take the experience somewhere else. Robert wanted more people to have that same reaction.
So, in 2025, Sanger Pralines was born.
And About That Name...
The name has a story of its own. A Scorpio, Robert started with the scorpion's most recognizable feature: its stinger. He played with the word, landed on Stanger, dropped the T, and Sanger emerged.
As Robert tells it:
“Ta daaah. Sanger Pralines was born.”
